Took me 41 years to get my first hole in one. 67 yards but I’m still counting it.

respectfully, you made a hole in one, why is that beer still full?

  2. BoxCarBlink44

67 yards is actually tougher because its not just a full club shot, atta be!

  3. Congrats man! Absolutely still counts and I’m excited to finally see one shorter than mine at 81 yards.

My only one was on the last hole of 9 hole par 3 course. Downhill 69 yards. Still counting that.

Walks up to the hole like he’s done it 1000 times before.

    This man mocks us.

  7. NotoriousMFT

Absolutely counts! And that is a grotesque pin placement

I got my first hole in one at that exact hole! Second hole at butler park pitch and putt.

Pitch and putt (without the putt for you)! Nice! Love that place.

You’ve been playing golf for 41 years?

Is this Butler Pitch and Putt? Love this place

  12. Wow. What an annoying distance for a par 3 but seriously, congrats!

  13. Throwaguey84

Oh man, I’d be gutted. No hate whatsoever but I wouldn’t be able to count this if it were me. I thank the golf gods that my ace was on a proper course.

  14. BigDogAlphaRedditor1

Personally I wouldn’t count it. But good stuff.

  15. grubberlr

congrats, well done……..i have had 6 in last 4 1/2 years, shortest is 54 yards and longest is 208 yards 5i ( jan 27, 2025)

People saying you shouldn’t count it are idiots! How many time have they chipped in from 67 yards? Bet it’s not many

  17. cowabunga9

Fellow 41 year old who made his first hole in one this year. Cheers brother!

  18. ekpyroticflow

If people count their 115 yard hole in one the same as a 200 yard one there’s no reason to rule out a 67 yard one. I think I draw the line at being able to make a putt as long as the shot, and while some links course maniac maybe managed that downwind at Prestwick yours is still good.

    Is this Butler!?

ETA: yes it is – congrats! I’ve sent many a balls into that brush on the right

  20. Flat_Tire_Rider

I’ve made a chip in from about 75 yards out. It was not a hole-in-one…it was for a bogey 🤣

    Congrats!

Played a course with my buddy years ago. A par 3 was under construction and the tee box was moved way up, it was like 45 yards to the hole.

My friend hit one that stopped an inch short of dropping. He has a schtick where he acts like he’s the best and brags about everything. It sounds annoying but is actually really funny.

Still, I’m glad he didn’t make it because I never would have heard the end of the greatest HIO ever made.

Congrats! Butler Pitch and Putt! Get your name on the wall!

  24. binghamptonboomboom

Those trucks parked to the right are almost promised to be scoomed.

  25. MuchArtichoke3

Congrats! Hell of a shot. Personally, I wouldn’t count any Par 3 course hole shorter than 100 yds, but you make that call. (and yes I’ve holed out from longer than 70 yds to all you naysayers)

  26. Nicholas_Pappagiorgi

Hole in ones on par 3 courses don’t count, fight me

  27. DatabaseCareless264

Congrats! My dad was 75! About 70 yards!

  28. Big_Larr26

Played a par 3 course in Myrtle Beach a couple of decades ago where I hit the pin on two consecutive holes, dropping the ball within a couple inches of the hole both times. Closest I’ve ever been and probably will ever be.
